How can we be sure sprinklers will work in a fire?

Fire sprinkler systems have been in use since the late 1800’s. Over 40 million sprinkler heads are installed annually worldwide. Most sprinkler systems have very few moving parts and components are subject to both initial and ongoing vigorous testing by international third part authorities to ensure robustness and compliance.
